Located in the hall of Natuna Hotel Ranai Darat, Bunguran Timur District, The Temporary Official Regent of Natuna, Rika Azmi officially opened the Security and Safety Training in Tourism Attractions, Tuesday (1/10) morning.
Also attended the event were members of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum, leaders of relevant Regional Apparatus Organisations, and activity participants.
Rika Azmi stated in her speech that Natuna has a diversity of natural tourist destinations and cultural arts. In addition to the strategic geographical location, the wealth of oil and gas natural resources, and the large fishery potential, all of these potentials if not utilised and explored in such a way will certainly be in vain.
She added that efforts and policies are needed to utilise all the potential so that it can become economically valuable and provide benefits to the community.
Rika continued, in addition to physical development, human resource development also continues to be carried out.
The implementation of this activity is none other than intended to increase the capacity of the community in providing tourism services at all tourism destination points in Natuna in particular.
He hoped that the training participants could benefit from increasing their knowledge of tourism, so that the budget spent could become an output in accordance with the targets and objectives of development in the tourism sector, namely in order to improve the economy and welfare of the community.
On the same occasion, the Secretary of the Natuna Regency Tourism Office, Wan Abdul Halim, reported that the purpose of this activity was to increase the knowledge, motivation, and ability of managers of tourist attractions and tourist villages in the aspects of security and safety services in tourist attractions and tourist villages.
The participants of the activity are representatives of the managers of tourist attractions, tourist villages and Tourism Awareness Groups (Pokdarwis) throughout the districts of Natuna Regency. (Pro_kopim/sari)
