Located in the meeting room of the Natuna Regent’s Office, Jalan Batu Sisir Bukit Arai, Bunguran Timur District, Ranai, the Temporary Official of Regent of Natuna, Rika Azmi led a meeting to prepare for the implementation of the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada), Monday (30/9) morning.
Attending the event were members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum, leaders of relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations, the Chairperson of the KPU and the Chairperson of the Bawaslu of Natuna Regency.
Rika Azmi said in her remarks the meeting was intended to make the local government aware of the various preparations and stages of the Pilkada implementation, through reports from various relevant implementing elements, and then evaluate so that the implementation can run smoothly, safely and conducively as expected.
She added that after being appointed as a temporary official (Pjs) of the Natuna Regent, she as the head of the region received a mandate from the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs, including facilitating Pilkada activities.
At the end of her speech, Rika Azmi conveyed an important direction, that the State Civil Apparatus must maintain neutrality in this democratic party activity, as mandated in the law. (Pro_kopim/Sari)
