The Regent of Natuna Closes the East Serasan District Volleyball Open Tournament.

Located at the Volleyball Field in East Serasan District, Monday (16/09) evening, the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, accompanied by the Chairperson of the Natuna Regency TP PKK, Septi Dwiani Wan Siswandi, officially closed the East Serasan District Volleyball Open Tournament.

The tournament, which lasted for approximately two weeks, is a series of annual activities held by the Government of East Serasan District in order to enliven Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day.

Wan Siswandi expressed his appreciation to the Committee and the Government of East Serasan Subdistrict for organizing this activity, moreover the activity ran smoothly and conducive.

According to Wan Siswandi, the essence of the match is not only about winning and losing, but what is far more important is to utilize this activity as a forum for friendship between the government and the community and between village communities.

Furthermore, he hoped that this activity could also be a forum for finding superior potential in the field of sports in particular and then intently mentored, so that regional sons could compete at a higher level.

The closing ceremony was marked by the presentation of prizes and flower bouquets by the Regent of Natuna to the winners. The team that won first place in the Men’s Volleyball Branch was the Hilir Village MVC team, followed by the 2nd place winner Payak Village Porkab, the 3rd place winner was Tanjung Sekelung Village Porsitas and finally the 4th Hopeful Champion was MVC Two Hilir Village.

As for the Women’s Volleyball Branch, Team Elang Mudai SMPN Satu Atap Serasan won first place, followed by Porpi Serasan Village won second place, while the third place was won by Pospan Satu Air Nusa Village and finally in the position of 4th Hopeful Champion won by Pospan Dua Air Nusa Village.

Also present at the event were several heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations, the Chairperson of the Natuna Regency TP PKK, the District Head and all Heads of East Serasan Village, community leaders, participants and the public/visitors. (Pro_kopim/Patli)
