Located in the Gajah Mina Jelita Sejuba Ball Room, Bunguran Timur Laut District, the Deputy Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda officially opened the Anti-Corruption Socialization event for Heads of Regional Apparatus and Village Heads within the Natuna Regency Government, Thursday, (19/09) morning.
Rodhial Huda stated that today, not a few officials and village heads, both within the Natuna Regency government, have stumbled upon legal cases of corruption, even based on news from various mass media.
According to Rodhial, the problem of corruption is a serious concern at every level of government through various efforts to prevent violations of the corruption law (Tipikor).
To several law enforcement agencies, both the Police and the Attorney General’s Office, Rodhial expressed his appreciation for the good relations established, both in the form of coordination, assistance and in the form of consolidation.
This good relationship must continue to be established, especially to prevent violations of the law, however the most important thing of these efforts is to build self-awareness not to violate the law.
Furthermore, the Inspector of the Natuna Regency Regional Inspectorate, Muhamad Amin reported that the purpose of this activity was to encourage the initiation and commitment of regional heads and regional ASN officials, village officials and other relevant stakeholders, in efforts to prevent corruption.
In addition, this activity is also intended as the implementation of action plans and regional public services as part of regional corruption prevention efforts, ensuring the implementation and consistency of the corruption prevention system that has been built, understanding the implementation of the duties, functions and authorities of the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) and Law Enforcement Officials in handling Corruption Crimes.
Also present at the activity were the Regional Secretary, resource persons from the Natuna Resort Police and the District Attorney’s Office, several heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations and Village Heads throughout Natuna Regency.
The number of participants in the activity, which will be held for two days (September 19 to 20, 2024), is 47 people from representatives of Regional Apparatus and 78 people from representatives of Villages / Kelurahan, the activity was held for two days from September 19-20, 2024. (Pro_kopim/D&S)
