In the agenda of a working visit in Serasan District, the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, attended the commemoration of the Maulid of the Prophet Muhammad SAW which was held at the Jami ‘Sya’airillah Mosque, Air Raya Village, Serasan District, last Sunday (15/09).
Wan Siswandi invited the Serasan community to make the momentum of the Prophet’s Maulid to increase obedience and piety to Allah SWT, and also to increase love for the great Prophet Muhammad SAW.
He also said that the Commemoration of the Maulid of the Prophet Muhammad SAW was carried out for no other purpose than for Muslims to always remember the history of his birth, as well as to build enthusiasm to make him an example in everyday life.
The Regent of Natuna also expressed his gratitude for the construction being almost completed. Given the importance of the existence of the Jami’ Sya’airillah Mosque for the people of Air Raya Village, Wan Siswandi said he would continue to provide support both materially and morally in the process of building these facilities.
Wan Siswandi added that the construction of the mosque must also be accompanied by efforts to prosper the mosque, increasing the interest of the congregation to perform worship in congregation.
In addition, it is expected that the mosque can be used as a center for community activities, the development of religious education, youth empowerment in various religious activities.
At the end of his speech, the Regent of Natuna hoped that as Muslims we can all revive the values taught by the Prophet in life, starting from household relationships.
Present on the occasion were several heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations, members of the DPRD, Chairperson of the Natuna Regency LAM, Chairperson of the Natuna Regency and District TP PKK, Sub-District Heads of Serasan and East Serasan, community leaders and the congregation.
