Natuna Regent Cen Sui Lan officially opened the Training Center (TC) program for the Natuna MTQ delegation ahead of the 12th Provincial MTQ of the Riau Islands (Kepri). The opening ceremony took place on Monday morning (11/05) at the second-floor meeting room of the Natuna Regional Secretariat Office.
The event was attended by the Assistant for Government Affairs, the Head of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office of Natuna Regency, the Head of the Social Welfare Division, several regional agency leaders, trainers, and all members of the Natuna delegation who will represent the regency in the upcoming MTQ competition.
In her speech, Cen Sui Lan said the training camp demonstrates the regional government’s strong commitment to preparing the participants thoroughly before competing in the provincial MTQ event in Tanjungpinang.
She explained that intensive and structured coaching is essential to help participants sharpen their skills in various competition branches, including Tilawah, Tahfiz, Syarhil Qur’an, Fahmil Qur’an, and several other categories.
According to her, the training center is expected to strengthen the participants’ focus, discipline, and confidence, enabling them to achieve better results than in previous years.
Cen Sui Lan also encouraged all participants to take the training seriously, stay motivated, and maintain solidarity throughout the preparation process.
She further reminded trainers and mentors to provide maximum guidance and support, emphasizing that strong teamwork between coaches and participants would play a major role in achieving success at MTQ XII.
Meanwhile, Head of the Natuna Social Welfare Division Sudirman explained that the training center program will be carried out in two stages. The first stage runs from May 9 to June 23, 2026, while the second stage will continue from June 13 until June 27, 2026.
Sudirman expressed hope that this year’s program would run more optimally and contribute to improving the participants’ performance, leading to stronger achievements for Natuna at the provincial MTQ competition. (Pro_kopim/D&S)
