Appointment of District TP-PKK Chairs, Khaidir Hopes Organization Can Maximize Its Role in Supporting Regional Development

The Family Welfare Empowerment Movement (TP-PKK) plays an important role at every level in supporting regional development, particularly in empowering families and improving community welfare. Through its programs in health, education, family economy, environmental issues, and quality of life, the organization serves as one of the regional government’s important links to the community.

This was conveyed by Natuna Assistant for Government and Public Welfare Khaidir in his remarks at the appointment of the 2026 District TP-PKK Chairs, held at Meeting Room II of the Natuna Regent’s Office on Jalan Batu Sisir Bukit Arai, Thursday morning (October 1).

Khaidir said the organization should not be limited to administrative activities, but should continue to strengthen its role in developing programs that have a direct and positive impact on the community. He also encouraged the newly appointed chairs to build good coordination with district, village, and urban-village governments, while strengthening cooperation with the Natuna Regency TP-PKK.

He also emphasized the importance of having women leaders who are creative and innovative, as well as willing to build strong coordination and collaboration with various parties, including the regional government, so that TP-PKK can receive the support needed to carry out its programs effectively.

Following the appointment of eight new District TP-PKK Chairs, Natuna TP-PKK Chair Syafartidah Jarmin said that, under the applicable regulations, the position is attached to the position held by their husbands. Accordingly, the wives of district heads are appointed as District TP-PKK Chairs to support the implementation of development programs at the district level.

The eight newly appointed chairs are Ny. Evline Supardi of Serasan, Ny. Martini Wan Adriadi of Bunguran Utara, Ny. Ruhaida Syamsul Bahar of Suak Midai, Ny. Astriningtias Marzuin of Bunguran Selatan, Ny. Dewi Febrianti Rahmini Putri Zauwali of Pulau Tiga, Ny. Meldawati Nico Lukmana of Pulau Tiga Barat, Ny. Wan Andriani Syafe’i of Bunguran Barat, and Ny.
