The Vice Regent of Natuna Attends the Closing of Muhibbah Visit to Pulau Tiga and Pulau Tiga Barat Districts, Ramadan 1445 Hijriyah

The Vice Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda, led the Natuna Regency Government’s Ramadan safari group to Pulau Tiga Barat District on Sunday (31/03). Attending were several members of the Forkopimda, Regional Secretaries and Heads of Regional Apparatus Organisations, several leaders and staff of vertical and banking institutions.

The visit was to attend the closing of the Muhibbah Ramadhan 1445 Hijriyah visit in the Pulau Tiga and Pulau Tiga Barat Districts, held at the Al Hikmah Mosque, Pulau Tiga Village.

The Ramadan safari group was warmly welcomed by elements of the Pulau Tiga Barat District Government, along with Uspika and the community as well as the Muhibbah Visit caravan activities originating from the Mosque / Surau which are representatives of villages throughout the Districts of Pulau Tiga and Pulau Tiga Barat.

During the series of activities, the entire Natuna Regency Government’s Ramadan Safari entourage was held open together prepared in several places / houses of residents, before holding maghrib prayers in congregation.

The Vice Regent of Natuna and the entire group of Ramadan Safari and Muhibbah Visit caravans also had the opportunity to perform isya and tarawih prayers in congregation before the Muhibbah Visit Closing activities were held.

On the closing occasion of the Muhibbah visit, several forms of assistance were also handed over, including assistance to all mosque / surau administrators in Pulau Tiga District, basic food packages from the Medco Berbagi Programme which were intended for 32 recipients.

In addition, 10 units of wheelchairs were also handed over to people with disabilities, finally Bank Riau Kepri Syari’ah also handed over cash assistance of five million rupiah for the operation of 5 mosques in Pulau Tiga Barat District.

In his speech, Rodhial Huda said that Muslims who fast are likened to two types of fasting animals, namely caterpillars that turn into cocoons and snakes that are fasting during the process of exchanging skin.

When the caterpillar, cocoon and finally become a butterfly, as well as the snake exchanging skin, both animals look more beautiful than before. This is what is meant for Muslims who fast, who hope to become more pious servants in the eyes of Allah SWT, and Muslims who are more beautiful in their behaviour, morals and character.

Rodhial added, regardless today has entered the last 10 nights of Ramadan, where there is Lailatul Qadar. For this reason, he invited all congregations to remain enthusiastic and sincere in carrying out night worship, hopefully with sincerity in servitude to Allah, blessed with blessings and forgiveness.

On the same occasion, the District Head of Pulau Tiga Barat, Junaidi, expressed his gratitude for the arrival of the Natuna Regency Government’s Ramadan Safari Group who took the time to attend the closing of the Muhibbah Ramadan 1445 H Visit.

A little story that the beginning of the Muhibbah Visit activity was initiated by several religious leaders several decades ago, so that this activity became an annual routine agenda every Ramadan, which was intended to establish friendship between residents of Pulau Tiga.

He further explained that he welcomed when he received information that the Natuna Regency Safari Ramadhan group, through the Head of Kesra, coordinated to synchronise the schedule, so that the regional head and his entourage could attend the opening and closing activities of the Muhibbah Ramadan Visit this year.

Junaidi hoped the relationships that took advantage of the momentum of the Muhibbah visit in Pulau Tiga and Pulau Tiga Barat Districts could always be used as an opportunity to gather and stay in touch, in the midst of a month full of blessings for building ukhuwah Islamiyah in the community.
