The Vice Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda, accompanied by the Head of the Natuna Ministry of Religious Affairs, officially opened the XII Regional Meeting of the Natuna Regency LPTQ in 2024, held at the Hajj Dormitory of the Natuna Gerbang Utaraku (NGU) Complex, Ranai, Thursday (25/04) afternoon.
Rodhial Huda stated that so far, the development and eradication of Qur’an illiteracy has only been carried out culturally in the community, both individually/residentially, and at the Qur’an Education Institution/Temple (TPQ).
It needs to be realised that the role of TPQ is central to efforts to eradicate Qur’an illiteracy. Therefore, LPTQ must continue to improve the function of TPQ, placing it as the main instrument that is synergised with the Vision and Mission of regional development, in the human development sector, increasing faith and devotion.
Rodhial hoped through this Musda, LPTQ Natuna Regency can focus more on establishing policies and formulating programmes focused on strengthening the TPQ coaching institution to further Improve the quality of learning in TPQ in particular.
This is none other than intended so that in the future each sub-district will at least have a superior / pilot TPQ institution, both in terms of management and learning techniques, which in turn will be able to fulfil the community’s desire for higher quality Qur’an education.
On the same occasion, the Chairman of the Activity Committee, Sudirman reported that the purpose of this activity was to identify various problems that exist in each LPTQ at the Sub-District Level, then establish solutions and agreements to further enhance the role of this institution for the development of Tilawatil Qur’an.
In addition, this LPTQ Musda activity is also intended to be a forum for friendship and establish a strategic work programme in realising a more competitive district cafilah at the regional level tilawatil qur’an event in the future.
