Located in the Gajah Mina Jelita Sejuba Ball Room, Bunguran Timur Laut District, the Vice Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda officially opened the Risk Management Technical Guidance for Risk Control Units in Regional Apparatus within the Natuna Regency Government, 2024, on Wednesday (04/12) morning.
Rodhial in his speech stated that this activity was based on the risk management implementation as the elaboration of Government Regulation Number 60 of 2018 concerning Government Internal Control System and Presidential Regulation Number 39 of 2023 concerning National Development Risk Management.
Thus, public sector governance, risk management, and internal control as processes and structures cannot stand alone and be defined separately, but rather have a close and interrelated relationship between one aspect and another.
Therefore, the implementation of risk management, which is also an integral part of the Government Internal Control System (SPIP), is expected to be able to ensure the achievement of the objectives of regional apparatus organisations.
Furthermore, the Secretary of the Natuna Regency Inspectorate, Tri Susilo Varianto, reported that the objective of this activity was to help participants understand and be able to implement risk management by referring to government regulation number 60 of 2008 concerning SPIP.
The above regulation requires regional apparatus to identify risks exist in local government activities, then analyse and prioritise risks, and build controls to mitigate risks. This needs to be improved for the realisation of risk management.
Last but not least, hopefully the implementation of SPIP can minimise the occurrence of errors in the implementation of activities in the future.
Also present at the activity were several heads of Regional Apparatus Organisations, resource persons from BPKPP representatives of Riau Islands Province and activity participants who were representatives of OPDs within the Natuna Regency Government.
The activity which was held from 4 to 6 December 2024 was attended by 110 participants, consisting of Administrator Officials from OPD representatives and APIP within the Natuna Regency Government. (Pro_kopim (D&S))
