Natuna Regent Cen Sui Lan officially swore in seven civil servants to new leadership positions within the Natuna Regency Government during a ceremony held at the Regent’s Office in Bukit Arai on Thursday evening (16/07).
The appointments, made under Decree No. 191/BKPSDM/2026, included four Administrative Officials and three Supervisory Officials. The ceremony was attended by the Regional Secretary, heads of regional government agencies, and the newly appointed officials.
In her remarks, Regent Cen Sui Lan said the appointments were part of the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen organizational performance, improve the quality of public services, and accelerate regional development in line with Natuna’s development vision.
She reminded the newly appointed officials that integrity must remain the cornerstone of public service, urging them to uphold ethical standards and avoid any form of abuse of authority, corruption, collusion, or nepotism.
The Regent also encouraged them to lead by example through professionalism, honesty, accountability, and a strong commitment to serving the public. She emphasized that leadership is reflected not only in authority, but also in the ability to inspire trust and set a positive example for colleagues and the wider community.
Cen Sui Lan expressed hope that the new appointments would serve as motivation for the officials to continuously improve their performance and demonstrate that they are worthy of the responsibilities entrusted to them.
The ceremony concluded with the Regent and attending officials extending their congratulations to the newly inaugurated civil servants as they begin their new assignments. Prokopim Natuna/S
