Natuna Regent Cen Sui Lan officially sent off the Natuna Scout Contingent for the 12th National Scout Jamboree (Jamnas XII) 2026 at Sri Serindit Hall, Ranai, on Saturday morning (August 8). The national event will take place from August 13 to 20 at Graha Wisata Scout Camp (Buperta) in Cibubur, Jakarta.
Cen Sui Lan said the National Scout Jamboree is one of Indonesia’s largest scouting events and an important opportunity for young people to develop leadership, independence, discipline, teamwork, and a strong sense of patriotism. She encouraged the participants to use the event to gain new knowledge, develop their skills, and build friendships with scouts from across Indonesia.
The Natuna contingent consists of 23 members, including six members of the Natuna Scout Branch, one official from the Youth and Sports Office, and 16 scout participants divided into two teams of boys and girls. The participants come from several junior high schools in Natuna.
Cen Sui Lan also expressed her appreciation to the Natuna Scout Branch, the Youth and Sports Office, coaches, trainers, mentors, parents, and everyone involved in preparing the contingent. She hopes the participants will represent Natuna with confidence and return with valuable experiences that will help them grow into responsible, skilled, and independent young people.
This year’s National Scout Jamboree carries the theme “Creative, Innovative, Skilled, and Independent to Support Food Self-Sufficiency.” The event is designed to provide educational and creative activities while strengthening the skills, independence, and character of young scouts.
