Natuna Regent Closes STAI Cup Plus and 2026 Governor’s Cup Volleyball Championship

Natuna Regent Cen Sui Lan officially closed the STAI Cup Plus and the 2026 Governor’s and Deputy Governor’s Volleyball Championship at the STAI Natuna campus on Sunday afternoon, August 22. The competitions were part of the 24th anniversary celebrations of STAI Natuna and featured volleyball teams from high schools across the regency.

The closing ceremony was attended by members of the Natuna DPRD, officials from the Riau Islands and Natuna Youth and Sports Offices, the Natuna Education Office, STAI Natuna officials, representatives of the Abdi Umat Natuna Foundation, and high school principals from across Natuna.

Cen Sui Lan thanked everyone who helped make the competitions a success. She said sports and youth development are an important part of Natuna’s efforts to prepare a stronger and more active younger generation. She hopes more young people will have the opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence, and pursue their potential in sports.

She also encouraged schools, sports organizations, and other stakeholders to work together to create a better sports environment in Natuna. According to Cen Sui Lan, regular competitions like this can do more than bring young people together. They can also help discover promising athletes and give them valuable experience as they continue to improve.

Cen Sui Lan expressed her appreciation to STAI Natuna and encouraged the institution to make the competition an annual event, with more teams taking part in the future. She hopes the event can continue to strengthen ties among young people while becoming a place for local athletes to grow and reach their potential. (Pro_kopimnatuna/D)
