Natuna Regent Cen Sui Lan officially closed the Kelarik Utara Cup 2026 Inter-Village Football Tournament at the Kelarik Utara Village Football Field, Bunguran Utara Subdistrict, on Sunday, August 30, 2026. The month-long tournament brought together 44 teams from villages across Natuna Regency, providing not only a competitive sporting event but also an opportunity to strengthen friendship, unity, and sportsmanship among local communities.
Cen Sui Lan expressed her appreciation to all players, the organizing committee, match officials, and the community for their support throughout the tournament. She said events like Kelarik Utara Cup play an important role in strengthening community ties while providing a positive platform for youth development. She also encouraged the continued growth of sporting activities in Natuna to help nurture promising local athletes who can represent the region in competitions at higher levels.
Following the final match, Cen Sui Lan presented trophies and awards to the winners in recognition of their achievements and sportsmanship throughout the competition. Tanjung Village, Bunguran Timur Laut Subdistrict, won first place, defeating Belakang Gunung Village, Bunguran Utara Subdistrict, which finished as runner-up. Kelanga Village, Bunguran Timur Laut Subdistrict, took third place, while hosts Kelarik Utara Village finished fourth.
Individual awards were also presented to Wira of Tanjung FC as Top Scorer and Iqbal of Belakang Gunung FC as Best Player of the tournament. The closing ceremony was attended by members of the Riau Islands Provincial DPRD representing Natuna-Anambas, members of the Natuna DPRD, heads of regional government agencies, the Bunguran Utara Subdistrict Head, village heads, community leaders, and hundreds of residents who came to watch the final match.
