The Natuna Regency Government held a symbolic bonus presentation for members of its delegation who excelled at the 12th Riau Islands Provincial Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) 2026, alongside an evaluation meeting on the regency’s participation in the competition. The event took place at the Natuna Regent’s Office on Tuesday (August 4).
The event was attended by Regent Cen Sui Lan, Deputy Regent Jarmin, Regional Secretary Boy Wijanarko Varianto, the Assistant for Government Affairs, the Head of the Natuna Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Head of the Social Welfare Division (Kesra), and MTQ participants who received the awards.
Natuna’s fourth-place finish at the provincial MTQ was recognized as a significant achievement, reflecting the dedication, hard work, and commitment of the regency’s delegation throughout the competition.
The Regent expressed her appreciation to all participants, as well as to the coaches, trainers, mentors, and everyone involved in preparing the Natuna contingent. She noted that the achievement was the result of strong teamwork and continuous guidance throughout the preparation and competition.
The symbolic bonus presentation was intended to encourage participants to continue improving their knowledge and performance in Qur’anic recitation and related disciplines.
The evaluation meeting also provided an opportunity for the Natuna Regency Government and relevant stakeholders to review this year’s performance and identify ways to strengthen coaching and preparation for future MTQ competitions. (Pro_kopimnatuna/S)
