Natuna Regional Secretary Attends 13th Joint Graduation Ceremony for Quranic School Students in 2026

Natuna Regional Secretary Boy Wijanarko Varianto attended the 13th Joint Graduation Ceremony for students of Quranic Learning Centers (TPQ) across Natuna Regency on Sunday morning (October 18). The event was held at the Sisi Basisir Restaurant Hall in East Bunguran District.

The ceremony brought together heads of relevant regional government agencies, the Head of the Natuna Regency Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, subdistrict heads, village heads, representatives of Quranic Learning Center development institutions across Natuna, religious leaders, parents, and students from various districts.

In his remarks, Boy congratulated the students on their graduation and expressed his appreciation for their achievements. He said the occasion reflected the continued efforts to teach the Quran and the positive impact of Quranic education on the community.

He emphasized that the TPQ graduation was more than just a ceremony. It was an opportunity to nurture children’s love for the Quran while strengthening the shared commitment to raising a generation that is faithful, morally upright, and grounded in good character.

Boy also expressed hope that cooperation between families, Quranic education institutions, the community, and the local government would continue to grow stronger. Through this collaboration, he said, the guidance and development of young people could continue consistently, helping shape future generations with strong character and religious values.

Meanwhile, event organizing committee chair Muhammad Fandoli reported that this year’s graduation involved 252 students from 28 Quranic Learning Centers across seven districts: East Bunguran, Central Bunguran, South Bunguran, Bunguran Batubi, West Bunguran, Pulau Tiga, and West Pulau Tiga.

Fandoli explained that the ceremony was a way to recognize the children’s dedication and hard work in learning the Quran, understanding religious teachings, memorizing prayers, studying good manners, and developing the habit of performing daily acts of worship.

He also reminded the graduates to continue learning the Quran even after the ceremony. Graduation, he stressed, should not mark the end of their learning journey, but rather the beginning of a deeper understanding of and stronger love for the Quran.

Through this event, Quranic education in Natuna is expected to continue growing, strengthening religious values in community life while helping nurture a younger generation that is faithful, knowledgeable, and guided by noble character. (Pro_kopimnatuna/S)
