For the Serasan community, the annual Maulid celebration is more than a religious gathering. It is also a way to keep people connected to their roots, strengthen Islamic brotherhood, and bring the community together. That spirit was reflected in the Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 1448 H/2026 M celebration hosted by the Serasan Family Association (HKS) at the Sri Serindit Multipurpose Hall in Ranai on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
Natuna Regent Cen Sui Lan, who attended the event alongside local officials, HKS members, and Serasan residents living in Ranai, praised the association for keeping the tradition alive. She said the values of Prophet Muhammad SAW remain relevant in building a more religious, harmonious, and united community—values that can also strengthen the wider development of Natuna.
For HKS Natuna Chairman Darwandi, the annual gathering is also an expression of gratitude and a way for Serasan residents to contribute to Natuna’s future. He said HKS will continue the tradition as a bridge between Islamic values, local culture, and Serasan’s community identity, ensuring that the spirit of togetherness remains part of the community wherever its people live.
