Natuna Regent Cen Sui Lan officially inaugurated the 2026 Natuna Paskibraka team at Sri Serindit Multipurpose Hall in Ranai on Saturday evening, August 15. The team will take part in the flag-raising ceremony marking Indonesia’s 81st Independence Day at the Natuna Regency level.
The ceremony was attended by the Chair of the Natuna DPRD, Regional Secretary, members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), heads of local government agencies, trainers, organizers, and the parents of the Paskibraka members. In her remarks, Cen Sui Lan congratulated the young men and women who had successfully completed the selection process and months of physical, mental, and discipline training. She said their inauguration marked an important moment as they were now ready to take on their duties.
She reminded the team that the Red and White flag represents Indonesia’s unity, pride, and the sacrifices made by the nation’s heroes. Raising the flag, she said, is not only a responsibility but also an honor and a chance for young Indonesians to show the values and character of the next generation.
Cen Sui Lan encouraged the Paskibraka members to carry the discipline, confidence, and sense of responsibility they gained during training into their daily lives. She hoped they would become positive role models at school and in their communities, respect and support their families, and grow into active and productive young people. She also thanked the trainers for their dedication and the parents for their continued support, and expressed hope that the team would carry out their duties proudly during the Independence Day ceremony.
