Natuna Regional Secretary Encourages Stronger Faith Through Islamic Outreach Gathering

Natuna Regional Secretary Boy Wijanarko Varianto attended an Islamic outreach gathering (Rihlah Dakwah) at Baitul Izza Grand Mosque, located within the Natuna Gerbang Utaraku (NGU) complex, on Friday afternoon (July 24).

The event was attended by the Assistant for Government and Public Welfare, members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), heads of relevant regional government agencies, village heads from across East Bunguran District, leaders and members of Islamic study groups (Majelis Taklim), women’s organizations, and members of the local Muslim community.

In his remarks, Boy welcomed Ustazah Hj. Rofi’atus Sa’adah, S.H., M., Chair of the Hubbul Musthofa Islamic Study Council in Batam, and her delegation, expressing appreciation for their continued commitment to visiting Natuna despite the challenges of reaching the island region.

He said the visit was expected to enrich participants’ religious understanding and strengthen Islamic outreach efforts, ultimately helping to deepen faith and devotion among the Muslim community in Natuna.

Boy also acknowledged the logistical difficulties of traveling to Natuna due to limited transportation access, and thanked the delegation for their dedication in continuing to share religious knowledge with the local community.

Speaking at the event, organizing committee chair Hj. Zainun emphasized that seeking knowledge is an important obligation for every Muslim and that religious study gatherings play a vital role in strengthening faith and broadening Islamic understanding.

She expressed hope that the program would inspire participants to deepen their knowledge of Islam, strengthen their love for the Prophet Muhammad, and apply the values they learn in their daily lives.

Hj. Zainun also extended her gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event, praying that their efforts would be accepted as acts of worship and rewarded by Allah SWT. (Pro_kopimnatuna/Endang)
