Natuna, July 3** — Natuna Regent Cen Sui Lan officially inaugurated civil servants to a number of leadership and functional positions during a ceremony held at Sri Serindit Multipurpose Hall in Batu Hitam, Ranai, on Friday afternoon (July 3).
A total of 49 officials were appointed to administrator positions, 39 officials to supervisory positions, and 16 officials to functional positions.
The inauguration was attended by the Chairperson and members of the Natuna Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), the Regional Secretary, heads of regional government agencies (OPDs), and all newly appointed officials.
In her remarks, Regent Cen Sui Lan stated that appointments and personnel rotations are a normal part of government organizational development aimed at improving the effectiveness of public administration, enhancing the quality of public services, and accelerating regional development in line with the vision and mission of Natuna Regency.
She also underscored the importance of upholding integrity in carrying out official duties. The Regent called on all newly appointed officials to avoid any form of abuse of authority, corruption, collusion, and nepotism, while serving as role models for both government personnel and the wider community through professionalism, honesty, accountability, and a strong commitment to public service.
Concluding her remarks, Regent Cen Sui Lan encouraged the newly appointed officials to regard their appointments as a motivation to deliver their very best performance.
