Held at the courtyard of the Ranai Darat Sub-District Office, Bunguran Timur District, on Tuesday morning (29/04), the Regional Secretary of Natuna Regency, Boy Wijanarko Varianto, attended the commemoration of National Posyandu Day 2026.
Also present at the event were several heads of related Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD), district heads and sub-district heads, the Chairperson of the Natuna Regency Posyandu Advisory Team, PKK chairpersons at district and village levels, school principals, Posyandu heads and cadres across Bunguran Besar District, as well as local community leaders.
In his remarks, Boy stated that Posyandu should not merely function as a public service facility, but also as a center for education, disease prevention, and continuous monitoring of the growth and development of children, mothers, and the elderly.
He also expressed his gratitude and highest appreciation to all Posyandu cadres, healthcare workers, and all parties who have contributed to community services.
According to him, the continued existence and role of Posyandu today prove that this service unit remains highly needed by the community. In light of this, Boy encouraged all parties to work together in strengthening the active role of Posyandu cadres, enhancing support from healthcare workers, and encouraging greater community participation.
Furthermore, he expressed hope that all Posyandu units across Natuna Regency would continue to develop into more adaptive, innovative, and responsive public service centers in facing various ongoing changes.
