On the evening of Saturday, June 21, at the Riau Islands Provincial Hall in Tanjungpinang, Regent of Natuna, Cen Sui Lan, along with other district and city leaders, attended the Opening Ceremony of the 11th Provincial Qur’an and Hadith Recitation Selection (STQH XI) of Riau Islands Province, 2025.
Like other attending regional leaders, Cen Sui Lan’s presence served as a gesture of encouragement and support for the development of Qur’anic recitation in the region. She expressed her hope that the participants would give their best efforts to bring pride and recognition to Natuna.
In addition to encouraging the participants to perform their best, Cen Sui Lan also took the opportunity to share her heartfelt hopes and requested the prayers of the people of Natuna for their delegation to achieve outstanding accomplishments.
As part of the competition, Natuna Regency has sent 19 participants to compete in various categories, including Tilawah (Qur’anic Recitation), Tahfidz (Memorization of the Qur’an), Hadith Memorization, as well as Scientific Writing and Arabic Language.
Cen Sui Lan emphasized that this event should not be seen solely as a competition, but also as an opportunity to strengthen Islamic unity (ukhuwah Islamiyah), foster a deeper love for the Qur’an, and encourage its application in daily life.
