Located at Piwang Beach Field, Jln Soekarno Hatta, Batu Hitam Village, Bunguran Timur District, (25/8) morning, the Regional Secretary of Natuna Regency, Boy Wijanarko Varianto had the opportunity to attend the launching of Participatory Supervision of Pilkada, 2024.
Attending the event were members of the Forkopimda, heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations, the Head of RRI Pratama Ranai, and visitors from various circles / layers of society.
Boy said in his speech that Bawaslu cannot work alone, active community participation is needed so that the 2024 elections run smoothly, transparently and orderly, so that the results of the democratic party can be carried out in a higher quality and truly reflect the aspirations of the community.
With the launch of the 2024 Pilkada Participation Supervision program, it is hoped that it can provide space for the community to participate in the successful implementation of a democratic party, simultaneous elections which will be held on November 27, 2024.
On the same occasion, Rosnawati, a representative of Bawaslu Riau Islands Province, said that optimal supervision will increase public confidence in the election results and ensure that the people’s voices are represented in real terms.
According to Rosmawati, transparency and accountability have important meaning in every stage of the Pilkada. For this reason, she hopes that all people can jointly build commitment and actively participate in supporting the implementation of elections that are more qualified, smooth, safe, peaceful, and have integrity.
