Located in the meeting room of the Natuna Regent’s Office, Jalan Batu Sisir Bukit Arai, Ranai, Wednesday (07/08) afternoon, the Regional Secretary of Natuna Regency, Boy Wijanarko Varianto led the Coordination Meeting for the Preparation of the Scout Camp (Kemsar) in 2024.
Several heads of the relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations, the Head of Bunguran Timur District and several administrators of the Natuna Scout Movement Branch Committee were present.
Boy stated that there are several things that must be discussed thoroughly, including how to get support from various related agencies, in the hope that this activity can be held smoothly and successfully.
Considering that this Kemsar activity has not been held for a long time (last held before Covid 19) Boy hoped that all subdistricts could participate by sending participants.
On the same occasion, the Head of the Youth and Sports Service, Hikmatul Arif explained that this activity was held with the aim of re-fostering the interests and talents of students, especially in various scouting skills.
The activity, scheduled to be held from 11 to 14 August 2024, will be held at the Sport Center Field on Jalan Adam Malik, Bandarsyah, Ranai, with an area of approximately 2 hectares and an estimated number of 300 participants.
Hikmatul also explained that the opening of the activity will be held on August 12, 2024, while the closing of Kemsar activities will be aligned with the commemoration of Scout Day which falls on August 14, 2024. (Pro_kopim/D&S)
