The development programs in the youth and sports field is the government’s responsibility and various related elements, considering that youth is the main driving element in society.
To realise this, it can be packaged in various events through coaching, training and even sports competency events that provide opportunities for young people who have the talent to measure their abilities while making achievements.
As a form of local government support in the development of the youth and sports sector, and to build community motivation, the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, made time to attend the closing of the Open Tournament for the 17th Anniversary of Sabang Mawang Barat Village, Pulau Tiga District.
Held at the soccer field of Sabang Mawang Barat Village, several heads of Regional Apparatus Organisations, the District Head and the Elements of the Island Tiga District, village heads and BPD members were present on the occasion, as well as visitors from both inside and outside the Pulau Tiga Sub-district.
Wan Siswandi said in his remarks that this activity had a positive value, apart from being a medium for silaturrahmi, it was also for competing for champions.
He expressed his appreciation and hoped that all elements of the village could work hand in hand in improving the village, harmoniously, so that the implementation of development could be planned more effectively and provide benefits to the entire community.
The Head of Sabang Mawang Barat Village, Pipit Riyatul, also expressed her appreciation to the Regent of Natuna in particular, who has supported this activity both morally and materially.
The committee thanked him for his cooperation and support so that the activities held from 28 June to 27 July 2024 could be carried out well.
On that occasion, the Regent of Natuna along with his entourage and invitees had the opportunity to watch the final match between the PPA Sedanau Village team against the Cemara FC Cemaga Village team, which was won by the PPA Sedanau Village team through a penalty shootout with a score of 5-4.
