On Thursday (22/02) afternoon, the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi had the opportunity to visit Pertamina University and attend an audience in the context of strengthening human resources in the field of education through scholarship cooperation, which was held at Pertamina University, Jl. Teuku Nyak Arief, South Jakarta.
Apart from being in the framework of Silaturrahhmi, Wan Siswandi said that he also intends to monitor 18 students from Natuna who received scholarships, and hopes that this support can be continued for this 2024 admission.
Also on the same occasion, Pertamina University Rector, Wawan Gunawan said that to manage Natuna’s abundant potential, the availability of competent human resources is a necessity, to increase economic output for the community and the region.
He acknowledged that the students studying at the university he leads are a form of HR energy relay, although not for now, in the future these academics are expected to be able to become active drivers of development, especially for Natuna Regency as one of the producing areas.
The scheme for the opening of the 2024 scholarship will be followed up immediately and the number of quotas will soon be conveyed through the socialisation of the Sobat Bumi Scholarship Program in 2024. (Pro_kopim/red)
