The HMI Conference is one of the important moments within the student organisation, as a place to continue the leadership relay that is expected to bring the organisation towards development and an increased role in development.
In connection with the organisation’s movements, HMI is expected to become one of the spearheads for accommodating Islamic academic youth, which in its future role will be able to fight for Islamic values in society, nation and state.
Boy Wijanarko Varianto, Regional Secretary of Natuna Regency, stated in his speech when officially opening the XI Natuna HMI Branch Conference, 2024-2025 Period, Thursday (22/2) morning at the RM Sisir Basisir hall, Jalan Wan Muhammad Benteng, Ranai.
Also attended the event were the Chairman of the Natuna Islamic College, Chairman of the KNPI DPD, Natuna KAHMI Management and several HMI administrators for the 2023-2024 period and Natuna HMI Conference participants.
Boy added that this activity is not only intended to elect a new chairman, but it must also be used as an opportunity to determine the organisation’s strategic programme, which is agreed upon and committed to be carried out together, both by the management and all members of HMI Natuna Regency.
He hoped that every member who has the right to vote would truly determine the figure of the chairman who has high integration and capability, to bring the organisation to increase its role and be able to bridge various ideas and ideas and concrete actions as a form of support in the implementation of regional development.
On the same occasion, the Chairperson of the Natuna Branch of HMI for the 2023-2024 period, Jupri, stated that the Conference is a mandate of the HMI constitution or by-laws which must be carried out once a year.
The management period of the HMI Natuna Branch for the period 2023-2024 has ended, according to the provisions of the organisation, it is mandatory to hold a Konfercab. Later through this activity, a new management will be born and has the authority to develop a programme plan to be implemented.
Jupri explained that Konfercab is the highest decision-making agenda at the HMI Branch level and not only elects the chairman but also discusses work programmes internally and externally. (Pro_kopim/Irles)
