The Regent of Natuna: Regional Development is not only about Big and Small, Physical and Non-physical Aspects, but How Beneficial it is for the Community

During a series of official visits to Pulau Tiga and Pulau Tiga Barat Districts, on Saturday (27/01), the entourage led by the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, had the opportunity to officially open the Development Planning Conference (Musrenbang) of Pulau Tiga Barat District Level which was held in Tanjung Kumbik Utara Village.

In his speech, Wan Siswandi said that the implementation of regional development is the responsibility of all parties, especially in realising it into an advanced, prosperous and equitable region with the principle of equity.

However, to achieve the goal as it is currently perceived, it is not a condition that can be realised in a short time, it requires priority and sustainable planning, involving all parties according to their respective authorities and capacities.

Through this activity, Wan Siswandi hopes that all proposals must be priority needs that are designed sustainably so that a program is fully realised and does not stop halfway.

Wan Siswandi also gave examples of priority and urgent forms of programmes that must be proposed, such as houses of worship and burial grounds. Even though it seems like a small programme, it is urgent for the community.

According to him, talking about work programme issues is not only related to large and small aspects, physical and non-physical but rather how much the results of this development have an impact and are felt by the community.

The same thing was also conveyed by the Head of Pulau Tiga Barat District, Junaidi in his speech, where priority programmes were proposed in stages as a form of community involvement from the village level, in determining the proposed development programme.

According to Junaidi, his party will try to accommodate all proposals submitted based on the results of the Musrenbang at the village level, then hope that various priority proposals can be accommodated in the Natuna Regency Level Musrenbang. (Pro_kopim/D/S)
