Visiting Telkom University Jakarta, the Regent of Natuna Obtains 8 100% Excellence Scholarship Quotas and 13 Smart Scholarships in 2024.

On Wednesday, 21st February 2024, after signing the MoU with Esa Unggul University, the Regent of Natuna continued the audience with Telkom University, the audience was held at the Telkom University Campus Jakarta.

The Director of Telkom University Jakarta, Dr. ir. Agus Rahmat Suhendra in his speech said that the cooperation in the long-term is not only in the form of scholarships, but lecturers can also be directly involved in research and community service in Natuna Regency.

“We hope that this collaboration can take place in the long term, and of course, we hope that the quota will increase both through scholarships and those who study at independent costs,” explained the Director of Telkom University.

The Regent of Natuna Wan Siswandi in his audience said that to strengthen human resources, the Regency Government established several collaborations with universities, one of which was Telkom University.

“In this audience, in addition to monitoring students who are studying here, we also want to convey long-term cooperation and opportunities for Natuna children to study here,” explained Wan Siswandi.

On this occasion, the Head of Marketing at Telkom University said that scholarship registration will open from March 1 – 10 May 2024. The total quota prepared for Natuna Regency is a total of 21 scholarships, of which 8 superior scholarships (100% scholarships), and 13 Smart scholarships (not 100% by applicable regulations).

Furthermore, shortly the scholarship acceptance team will conduct socialisation with the Regency on how the scholarship acceptance procedure and the requirements needed.

In the monitoring process, 5 Natuna Regency students received excellent scholarships, 2 students managed to get a GPA of 4.0, 2 students managed to get a GPA of 3.92 and one student with a GPA of 3.75.

Seeing the Monitoring Results, the Natuna Regent expressed his pride in the achievements of Natuna Regency Students who have superior GPAs and hopes that they can be maintained until the end of the education period.

“To the younger siblings, I thank you for maintaining the good name of Natuna by studying and really. This is not only about the pride of the Regency and the University but for the future of younger siblings and the Pride of Parents,” Wan Siswandi concluded (Patli).
