The Vice Regent of Natuna Opens Training on Activity Programming for Women’s Organisations

Located at the Sri Serindit Building, Ranai, the Vice Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda, attended and opened the Training on Activity Programming for Women's Organisations, on Tuesday (12/12) morning.

Attending the event were the Regional Secretary of Natuna and a number of heads of Regional Apparatus Organisations, heads and administrators of Women's Organisations, heads of Malay Customary Institutions and training participants.

The activity was carried out by the Association of Women's Organisations (GOW) in collaboration with the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection and Population Control and Family Planning (DP3AP2KB) to improve the ability of women's organisations in the preparation of organisational work programs.

GOW is a women's organisation that plays a role in fostering unity and integrity and establishing cooperative relationships between women's organisations to realise gender equality in all aspects of life and development.

Rodhial Huda stated in his speech that women's organisations have a strategic role both in the field of government and in community life.

Given the importance and strategy of the activity, especially in efforts to develop the role of women's organisations in the implementation of development, Rodhial hopes that all participants can focus on participating in activities that can later be applied in organisations and in everyday life.

Furthermore, the Chairperson of the Natuna Regency GOW, Septi Dwiani Wan Siswandi, also said that this training aims to improve the ability to prepare programmes and increase insight, awareness and positive attitudes about the strategic role of women, to actively participate and be able to inspire women to develop creativity.

Furthermore, Septi also advised that all participants follow this training well so that they can understand what the role of women is in social life. (Pro_kopim/Irles).
