Located in the Tren Central Hotel Meeting Room, the Vice Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda attended and opened the Ecotourism Guide Training event, Thursday (3/8) morning.
The training activity, which was held for approximately 4 days (from 2 to 6 August 2023), was attended by 40 participants who were representatives of the Tourism Awareness Group and the Indonesian Tourist Association from several regions in Natuna Regency.
Several leaders of technical Regional Apparatus Organisations related to empowering and improving the economy of communities supporting the development of Natuna Tourism were also present.
Rodhial Huda in his speech said that the development of the Tourism sector can be defined by various tourism activities supported by the availability of facilities as well as the community, economic businesses both goods and services, and local governments.
This activity is very useful for the community as a tourist guide who will provide information to tourists who will visit Natuna.
So far, the Regional Government continues to strive to increase the development of the tourism sector, with the intention of increasing the number of tourist visits to Natuna, with the hope that the economy of the community with these conditions can be improved as well.
But to make this happen, according to Rodhial Huda, there are several things that must be addressed, including the existence of Ecotourism Guides who have the ability, insight and knowledge related to cultural and historical information, natural conditions and the regional environment.
With the existence of professional Ecotourism Guides, it is hoped that it can support regional promotional steps and have an impact on increasing the number of tourist visits in Natuna Regency, both from other regions, and foreign tourists.
At the end of his speech, Rodhial said that the participants could know and understand how to plan and implement ecotourism guiding.(Pro_kopim/Irles)
