Instead of being biased towards various supporting activities which frequently turn into the main purposes of visitors come to the location, Musabaqoh Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) should be a momentum to increase the faith and piety of the ummah.
Therefore, the focus and concepts of the MTQ X presently must be changed which is as an exposure of the recitation of the Quran instead of the establishment of bazaar.
As it is conveyed by the Vice-Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda in his welcome speech of the Natuna MTQ X Preparatory Meeting holds in Meeting Room, the office of the Regent of Natuna, Batu Sisir St, Bukit Arai, Ranai, Wednesday (11/05).
Members of the Regional Leadership Coordinating Forum (Forkopimda), Heads of the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD), and the representatives of State Electricity Company (PLN) also attend the preparatory meeting.
Rodhial adds that to have the implementation accomplished, it is hoped the entire parties involved are able to cooperate and work together. The MTQ X at the Natuna Regency level is centered at the Natuna Grand Mosque, Ranai, East Bunguran Sub-District.
He also mentions in order to maintain religious values, the implementation of MTQ is focusing on the use of mosque facilities only and no Astaka.
It is intended either to maximize the roles of the mosque as a center of the ummah development, to reduce costs, or to avoid redundancies, considering the regional budget revenues has currently declined.
