The Vice Regent of Natuna Hands Over Qur’an Tahfidz Scholarships to Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Natuna Students on Official Visit to Bunguran Barat.

During the official visit of the Regional Government led by the Vice Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda, he visited several locations in West Bunguran District with some programmes and activities, on Friday (15/12).

Among the agendas were communal cleaning of the water environment around the harbour, exercising with the community and school students centred in the Bunguran Barat Naval Post area, and visiting MAN 2 Natuna and SMA 1 Bunguran Barat.

At the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Natuna Hall, Rodhial Huda, accompanied by several heads of Regional Apparatus Organisations, handed over scholarships for Tahfidz Qur'an students to the school's students.

Additionally, several scholarships were also handed over, which included scholarships for outstanding, underprivileged students and non-academic scholarships, as well as rice assistance for ASN Shares within the Natuna Regency Ministry of Religious Affairs.

In the presence of the teachers, students and guardians present on the occasion, Rodhial Huda explained that due to the current condition of the region's ability, he and the Regent of Natuna agreed to reduce iconic development, but focusing on leaving a legacy of programmes that are more focused on the development of quality human resources.

This is realised by efforts to establish joint coordination with various ministries and higher education institutions to obtain scholarships at several universities that are closely related to regional potentials, such as majors in oil and gas, BMKG, fisheries, shipping, tourism and various other areas.

He hoped that, with the scholarship opportunities that have been opened for the Natuna's youth, students can take the opportunity to improve their abilities to face future competition.

The principal of MAN 2 Natuna, Qomariyah, on the same occasion, expressed her gratitude for the visit of the Natuna Regency Government group on this official visit.

She explained that one of the assistance that will be given to students this time comes from the professional zakat of teachers and the community who have fulfilled the provisions of the issuance of zakat.

He expressed his hope that this assistance or scholarship can provide a positive meaning, especially in the form of a form of care, friendship and obligation to fellow Muslims.

The event continued with the handover of Tahfidz Qur'an scholarships from the Natuna Regency Tilawatil Qur'an Development Institute (LPTQ) for 8 people and the provision of rice from the ASN Berbagi programme. (Pro_kopim/axy)
