Santri is not only obliged to understand religious teachings well but is also responsible for making religious values a foundation in daily actions and behavior. Santri must be a good example in society, upholding the values of kindness, tolerance, and brotherhood.
Of course, we must also remember the great role of Santri in the history of this nation's struggle, they were seen in various important events that shaped Indonesia's independence.
Therefore, in the right momentum to reflect on our role in championing this country, as the next generation, santri must continue to learn and strive to achieve perfection in religious and general knowledge, become smart people, care for others, and be ready to contribute positively to society and the country.
This was conveyed by the Vice Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda, when acting as the Inspector of the Commemoration of National Santri Day (HSN) held at the Nurul Jannah Islamic Boarding School, Bandarsyah Village, Ranai, Sunday (22/10) morning.
Rodhial Huda invited all those who attended the commemoration to always pray that Allah SWT will always provide guidance, strength, and patience in carrying out the struggle as santri who are committed to "Jihad Santri Jayakan Negeri".
He hopes that this HSN commemoration can be used as a starting point for all to be more enthusiastic and contribute positively to the country, religion, and nation.
Attending the event were the Head of the Education Office, the Head of the Natuna Regency Ministry of Religious Affairs, and the participants of the rally who were all santi-santi in the Bunguran Timur sub-district.(Pro_kopim/Sri)
