The Natuna Regency Government held a Ramadan Safari on the 16th night of Ramadan 1445 Hijriyah, Tuesday (26/03) night, to strengthen the relationship between the local government and the Muslim community in the District area

Led by the Regional Secretary of Natuna Regency, Boy Wijanarko Varianto, the Natuna Regency Safari Ramadhan entourage visited the Al-Huda Pian Padang Mosque, South Bunguran District.

While delivering his speech, Boy said that the purpose of this activity was to connect and absorb aspirations directly with the local community.

Boy also hoped that all mosque/surau administrators would continue to make efforts to prosper the mosque, maintain cleanliness and beauty to create a comfortable atmosphere for worship.

To encourage the above, Boy suggested that mosque/surau administrators submit a proposal, and the Regency Government will try to realize the support, of course through budgeting procedures.

Boy also had the opportunity to hand over mosque assistance amounting to 3 million rupiah sourced from PT Bankriau Kepri Syariah, symbolic Extreme Poverty Handling Assistance, handing over disability aids in the form of 3 units of wheelchairs and 1 pair of sticks, 1 foot stick, and finally handed over a package of basic necessities originating from Medco Energi.

At the same time, the Head of South Bunguran Sub-District, Supardi, reported that in South Bunguran Sub-District, especially in Cemaga Village, it is currently difficult to get clean water, especially in the holy month of Ramadan where the need for clean water is high.

For this reason, he sincerely hoped that there would be assistance/policy from the local government to help establish a quick solution in addressing the needs that concern the lives of many people.

Also present at the event were Chairman I and several DPRD Members, Assistant for Government Affairs, several OPD heads, Sub-District Heads, Village Heads and local community leaders. (Pro_kopim/D&S)
