Took place at the Hajj Dormitory of the Natuna Grand Mosque, Monday (6/3/2023) the Regional Secretary of Natuna, Boy Wijanarko Varianto officially opened the Training Centre (TC) for candidates for the 10th Tilawatil Qur'an Selection (STQ) at the Riau Islands Province level in 2023.
Several officials attended, namely Assistant 1 for Government Affairs, Khaidir, Head of the Natuna Regency Ministry of Religious Affairs Office, Budi Darmawan, Head of the Kesra Section as chairman of the committee, Sudirman, Sub-District Heads, Heads of KUA throughout Bunguran and STQ trainees from Natuna Regency.
Boy expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the 22 participants who would take part in the Training Centre of this time.
He also hoped that the participants would practice seriously to make Natuna proud at the STQ event at the Riau Islands Province level which would be held in Karimun Regency later on.
Boy invited all participants and invitees to pray for the Serasan District community which is currently suffering catastrophic flooding and landslides. May the people affected by the catastrophe be granted strength and patience.
On the same occasion, the head of the committee, Sudirman, explained that the selection took place for 40 days, from March 5 to April 15, 2023.
The selection candidates will participate in several categories, including the Tilawah Branch (8 people), Tahfiz Branch (14 people), then the Kompang Branch which is followed by 11 people.
Sudirman explained that several categories could not be participated in due to the lack of candidates, namely the 30 Juz Al-Quran Tahfiz, Arabic Al-Quran Interpretation, and the 100 hadith memorisation. (Pro_kopim/irles)
