Located at Gajah Mina Jelita Sejuba Ball Room, Bunguran Timur Laut District, the Regional Secretary of Natuna Regency, Boy Wijanarko Varianto officially opened the Socialization of Labor Social Security Protection for Neighborhood and Community of Natuna Regency organized by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Natuna Regency, Wednesday (11/12) morning.
Boy Wijanarko delivered his gratitude to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan of Natuna Regency for maintaining synergy in the development program of labor social security ownership, mainly in Natuna. Boy also pointed out that this socialization is specifically for Village Heads, Neighborhood and Community Associations (RT and RW) as the community’s frontline, as an implementation of Presidential Instruction No. 02 of 2021 and No. 04 of 2022.
Boy Wijanarko explained that apart from the above participants, the regional government also supports to maximize the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan membership security in Natuna Regency through various regulations that also guarantee the safety of fishermen and farmers.
At the end of his speech, Boy Wijanarko hoped that the synergy of the village government to the Regency level would be developed in the future, this is important especially in realizing one data center and ensuring that every RT / RW in Natuna Regency is recorded in real terms, so that they get social security protection from BPJS Employment.
The material for the Socialization of Social Security Protection of BPJS Employment Participation for RT / RW was delivered by the Head of Participation Marketing, Wahyu Wibowo. He conveyed that the form of social protection organized by the state is intended to ensure the safety of every community.
Until now, there are two districts that have implemented BPJS Employment, namely Bunguran Timur Laut and Serasan Districts. In the future, all RT / RW will be registered as BPJS Employment members in accordance with the data received by BPJS, namely, Kaling (Head of Environment) as many as 22 people, RW as many as 265 people, RT as many as 680 people with a total of 977 memberships throughout Natuna Regency.
The main function of BPJS employment is not only to ensure the safety of members, but also the money paid may become JHT savings that can be disbursed when they retire.
