The Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi signed the Regional Grant Agreement Script (NPHD) for the 2024 Simultaneous Elections with the Natuna Regency KPU and Election Supervisors which was held in the Meeting Room of the Natuna Regent's Office, Jalan Batu Sisir Bukit Arai, Monday (23/10) morning).
Also attending the meeting were the Regional Secretary, Administrative Assistant, heads of relevant Regional Apparatus Organisations, Chairman of Bawaslu Riau Islands, Chairman of KPU, Chairman of Bawaslu Natuna Regency, and members.
In his speech, Wan Siswandi said that in order to support the implementation of simultaneous elections in 2024, the Regional Government will facilitate the operational budgeting of these activities, although it is realized that in its realization it will not be able to be held optimally.
However, he will continue to strive to build coordination with various related parties, so that all operational needs for the implementation of the elections can run as expected.
The budgeting given to the KPU and Bawaslu from the Natuna Regency Government through NPHD is in accordance with applicable laws. For this reason, he hopes that it can be used to support the smooth preparation and implementation of simultaneous elections later. (Pro - Kopim (D)
