The Regent of Natuna Opens the Coordination Meeting of the Natuna Regency Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team, Year 2023

Located at the Sri Serindit Building, Ranai, Natuna Regent, Wan Siswandi opened the Coordination Meeting of the Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team, Wednesday (07/06) afternoon.

Present at this event included the Acting Regional Secretary, Heads of Regional Apparatus Organisations, Sub-District Heads throughout Natuna Regency, Chairperson of the Natuna Regency PKK, Head of Puskesmas throughout Natuna Regency, Village Heads throughout Natuna Regency.

In his remarks, Wan Siswandi said that efforts to deal with stunting are a shared responsibility that has been mandated by the Constitution. Therefore, all related parties are expected to continue to work together to take targeted and measurable anticipatory steps towards accelerating stunting reduction.

According to Wan Siswandi, efforts to reduce stunting are important as an effort to realise a superior quality generation, through efforts to realise healthy and intelligent child development.

So far, the local government's efforts to reduce the stunting rate in Natuna Regency have produced significant results. This is inseparable from the focus of the various parties involved, both interventions from the local government through medical personnel, various community organisations, attention from the private sector and various parties who have the same concern.

In the future, Wan Siswandi hopes that the cooperation, concern and joint commitment that have been built can continue to be carried out in synergy, according to their respective duties and roles, to support the achievement of the targeted national stunting rate.

Through this coordination meeting, all parties are expected to provide suggestions for formulating work plans and concrete actions to reduce the stunting rate in Natuna Regency.

To the Village Heads who are in direct contact with the community, Wan Siswandi really hopes that they can continue to build coordination with various related parties, so that the handling and target of the programme can be carried out optimally and effectively. (Pro-Kopim/Atra)
