The Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, accompanied by the Economic Assistant, Basri, attended the Natuna Regency Regional Inflation Control Team Meeting, with the Agenda of Cheap Food Implementation Preparation.
Located in the Meeting Room of the Natuna Regent's Office, Jalan Batu Sisir Bukit Arai, Ranai, Monday (12/06) afternoon, the activity was attended by several relevant OPD leaders, the Head of the Natuna Regency Central Statistics Agency, and several sub-district heads.
Wan Siswandi in his remarks conveyed the purpose of this meeting to monitor and suppress the inflation rate in the region so that the inflation rate in the region tends to be stable, usually the inflation rate in the region is generally common in foodstuffs.
Wan Siswandi added that the local government has taken steps to emphasise inflation in the region ahead of the Qurban Day, by sending cattle to several areas in the Riau Islands province.
On the same occasion, Economic and Development Assistant Ir. Basri said that this inflation activity is very important to do in addition to stabilising food prices but also maintaining people's purchasing power with much cheaper prices with good quality products so that many buyers.
Furthermore, Basri also said that the local government will organise a cheap food event, which will be held at Piwang Beach, Ranai.
