The Regent of Natuna Attends the West Sumatra Yacht Rally 2023 Gala Dinner

Located at the Natuna Dive Resort, the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi had the opportunity to attend the Gala Dinner in the framework of the West Sumatra Yacht Rally 2023 on the evening of (9/7/2023).

Several officials were present, including representatives from the Indonesian Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, a number of Natuna Regency DPRD members, Forkopimda and leaders of Regional Apparatus Organisations as well as all committees and invitations.

In this activity, the invitations were presented with various entertainment and cultural performances performed by several groups of art activists / cultural groups from several villages.

The participants of the West Sumatra Yacht Rally 2023 were 17 participants, coming from various countries, including Francis, Australia, Germany and the Philippines.

The Yacht Rally participants looked very enthusiastic in the activity. This can be seen from the excitement shown when participating in cultural dances performed by the sons and daughters of Natuna on the occasion.

Wan Siswandi in his speech expressed his gratitude, especially to the organiser who had set Natuna as one of the stopover destinations for Sumatra Yatch Rally 2023 participants.

This is considered to be a great opportunity for Natuna to introduce, promote its tourist destinations, both through the cultural values of the Malay community that continue to be preserved, as well as the opportunity to introduce natural beauty tourist destinations in the eyes of the world.

To support Natuna's tourism development, Wan Siswandi admitted that he had taken various strategic steps to support this, including improving infrastructure, transportation as well as improving services that would create a sense of security and comfort for visitors / tourists.

At the end of his speech, Wan Siswandi also expressed his gratitude for the support of various parties. This is important considering that Natuna, which is located in a border area, really needs support and attention to develop this area, especially in the tourism sector. (Pro_kopim/Irles)
