The Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, attended the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Head of the Natuna District Attorney's Office and the Village Heads of Natuna Regency virtually, at the Natuna District Attorney's Office Hall on Tuesday (24/10) morning.

Also attending the event were the Head of Intelligence of the Natuna District Attorney's Office, the chairman and management of the Natuna Regency Apdesi, leaders of related OPDs, Sub-District Heads and Village Heads throughout Natuna Regency.

The Governor of Riau Islands, Ansar Ahmad, was virtually present, who in his speech said that on behalf of the Riau Islands Provincial Government, he gave appreciation to the Riau Islands High Prosecutor's Office for initiating this activity.

The program, held at five Kejati branches in regencies / cities throughout the Riau Islands Province, is expected to really be able to realise and integrate the Village Guard Prosecutor Program (Jagadesa) as an effort to prevent violations of the law that are right on target.

According to Ansar, this is one of the joint efforts to actualise the Nawacita of the President of the Republic of Indonesia in developing Indonesia from the periphery, in which the main goal is to build village independence.

Therefore, we should be grateful for the various rules and regulations that have been issued by the Central Government where the essence of these regulations aims to strengthen the position of villages to realise independence.

Ansar believes that strong and resilient villages will give birth to a more resilient and solid sub-district, regency, province, and state of Indonesia. (Pro- Kopim (D)
