The Women's Organisation Movement (GOW) is an organization that has a great influence on society, especially as a forum for increasing women's empowerment as a form of support for development.
In the future, it is hoped that GOW and all women's organizations in the working area of Natuna Regency can continue to show their contribution according to their fields, both in supporting welfare improvement, improving health levels, family independence, and improving the quality of human resources.
The above was conveyed by the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi in his remarks when attending the 22nd Natuna Regency GOW Anniversary 2023, held at the Women's Building, Jalan Batu Sisir Bukit Arai, Ranai, Sunday (08/10) afternoon.
Attending the event were the Deputy Regent of Natuna, the Regional Secretary, several leaders of related Regional Apparatus Organisations, the Advisory Board of the Natuna Regency GOW, and the heads of women's organizations who are members of the Natuna Regency GOW.
On the same occasion, the Chairperson of the Natuna Regency GOW, Septi Dwiani Wan Siswandi, said that GOW is a women's organization that has been pioneered by predecessors.
According to her, in an effort to strengthen the foundations of the organization, GOW has gone through a long journey to remain consistent in carrying out its programs to improve the role of women.
Septi hopes that GOW will be better in carrying out its functions and roles in the future so that women can do more in empowering and supporting the implementation of regional development.
