Sunday, 05 May 2024 The Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, attended the halal bi halal event of the Serasan Family Association (HKS) which was synchronised with the release of the Serasan district hajj pilgrims, held at the Sri Srindit Building, Ranai.
The halal bi halal event is part of the efforts of the HKS board to strengthen ukhuwah islamiyah to achieve blessings.
HKS Chairman, Bukhari stated that various activities have been carried out during the year 2024, and this was realised due to the cooperation of all HKS members.
‘We hope that the HKS management can carry out their duties properly so that various activities can be carried out in the future, the aim of which is to strengthen ukuwah Islamiyyah among fellow Serasan residents,’ explained Bukhari.
The Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, delivered his speech saying that this halal bihalal activity is a forum for the Serasan community to establish friendship and improve Islamic spirit.
‘I hope this bond of friendship can continue to exist. With friendship, let us create activities that have benefits for the community and participate in regional development.
‘Let us maintain this harmony and make it our identity as a Malay community,’ explained Wan Siswandi.
Wan Siswandi said that harmony is one of the elements in maintaining friendship between fellow Serasan people in particular and Natuna people in general.
On this occasion, a symbolic release of pilgrims was also carried out in Serasan District, where this year Serasan District was represented by 1 pilgrim, namely Mrs Wardiah.
The Halal bi Halal event was marked by a religious lecture delivered by the Staff of the Natuna Regency Ministry of Religion, H. Sutrismo, ST and closed with a prayer together and eating toast. (Pro_kopim Natuna/Patli)
