Held in the Lobby of the Natuna Regent's Office, Batu Sisir St. Bukit Arai, Ranai, Thursday (02/03) morning, the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi along with the Commander of Raden Sadjad Airbase, Col. (PnB) Jajang Setiawan, accompanied by the Vice Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda, held a Press Conference on the recruitment plan for TNI Air Force Personnel in 2023.
On this plan, Wan Siswandi in his speech expressed his gratitude for the plan initiation from the TNI AU to hold the recruitment of TNI AU personnel in Natuna Regency.
With other words, this will open up as many opportunities as possible for the local youth to join the Air Force unit. Wan Siswandi really hoped that there would be Natuna's youth to become aviators / personnel of the Indonesian Air Force in the near future.
In addition, Wan Siswandi also explained that the Regional Government has currently cooperated and coordinated with various educational institutions to provide opportunities for regional youth to get a higher education.
The institutions that have granted scholarships are, among others, Akamigas Mineral Energy Polytechnic (PEM) in Cepu, Surabaya Shipbuilding Polytechnic, PLN Jakarta Institute of Technology, Pertamina University Jakarta and several other universities,
Therefore, Wan Siswandi hoped that these opportunities could be properly used by local youth to improve their abilities, so that in the future Natuna's human resources would be able to compete and be more involved of development in any fields.
And Lanud RSA, Col (Pnb) Jajang Setiawan said, considering the high interest of Natuna's youth to join the TNI AU, it was a reason and encouraged him to directly coordinate with the TNI AU Headquarters, in order to conduct recruitment in Natuna Regency. Jajang admitted that he was grateful, and thanks to the built coordination, the Air Force Headquarters approved the recruitment of Bintara, Taruna/Taruni Indonesian Air Force to be held in Natuna Regency.
He also explained that the recruitment of Bintara, Taruna/Taruni candidates has now been opened until next April, Jajang hoped that the local youth would enthusiastically grab this opportunity.
Jajang said that it is not impossible that in the future regional youths would be born to serve at the RSA Airbase, which will be the pride of the region.
Jajang also emphasised that the recruitment process which will be held in Natuna Regency later will be free of charge. In addition, potential participants will also be provided a mess for living during the recruitment selection process.
The initial stage of the selection will be held at the RSA Natuna location. After candidates who qualify for the initial stage are selected, they will then participate in the selection at the national level which will be held in Jakarta. (Pro_kopim/Atra)
