The Government of Natuna Regency held a National Education Day (Hardiknas) 2024 ceremony at the Natuna Regent’s Office, Ranai, Thursday (02/05) morning. Regional officials were present, including the Vice Regent of Natuna, Regional Secretary, Assistants, Expert Staff, FKPD members, and Heads of Regional Apparatus Organisations.
From the ranks of the participants, there were Regional Government Apparatus, Principals and Teachers, also students.
As the Inspector of the Ceremony, the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, delivered the Written Remarks of the Minister of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, in which he stated that being the leader of the independent learning movement has made him realise the challenges and opportunities to advance Indonesian education.
He emphasised that it is not an easy thing to transform a large system, to change the perspective on the learning process. It takes a big struggle to make improvements.
Moreover, the world of Indonesian education has also been faced with great challenges, namely during the pandemic which caused the learning process and way of life to change drastically.
The new face of Indonesian education and culture is being built together with the independent learning movement, where the concept provides opportunities for Indonesian children to freely learn in class, teachers are also free to try new things because they are given the opportunity to gain the trust of students to get to know and assess their students.
The Minister of Education and Research said that at the end of his term of service, he expressed his gratitude for the struggle of all education people who continue to provide support for change, and unite in striving to improve the quality of national education. Pro- Kopim (D&S)
