The Assistant I of the Natuna Regency Secretariat attended the Scout Day Commemoration Ceremony in Bunguran Timur Laut.

Wednesday (14/08) morning, the Regent of Natuna, represented by the Assistant for Government and Welfare of the Natuna Regency Secretariat, Khaidir, attended and acted as the master of ceremonies at the Closing of the Bhakti Camp of the Bunguran Timur Laut Ranting Kwartir.

The activity, which was synchronized with the 63rd Scout Day Commemoration in 2024, was held in the yard of SDN 006 Selemam, Bunguran Timur Laut District.

Khaidir said in his speech that Scouting has a long history in the mental development of the nation’s next generation, starting from the era of the independence struggle to the current digitalization era.

According to Khaidir, in the Scout Movement coaching scheme, where learning outside the classroom with material for love of nature, abundance of cultural heritage, norms and various noble values, is expected to be a potential educational scheme in the strategy of forming a golden generation.

Furthermore, it was conveyed that the potential of this organization, over time, is still a consideration of the government, so that in the Merdeka Curriculum, the Scout Movement is still an extracurricular that must be implemented, especially in the Early Childhood Education front groups, up to the senior high school level.

Therefore, Khaidir advised that in the future the Natuna Regency Kwartir Branch must further improve the focus of the work program and concern for the various obstacles faced by the conditions of the Kwartir Ranting.

The closing ceremony was marked by the awarding of prizes to the winners of the best tents and hiking teams, followed by a direct review of the campground as well as a friendly gathering with all Bhakti Camp participants.

Also present on the occasion were Branch Supervisors and all Kamabiran, Kamabagus throughout Bunguran Timur Laut Sub-District, Gudep Supervisors, School Principals and UKSPF Bunguran Timur Laut Coordinator. (Pro_kopim/Patli)
