Held at the Sri Serindit Building, Natuna Regent Cen Sui Lan attended the socialization event for the Jaksa Garda Depan (Jaga Desa) Program, organized by the Riau Islands High Prosecutor’s Office, along with the signing of the Village Head Integrity Pact, on Friday afternoon (18/12).
Those in attendance included the Head of the Riau Islands High Prosecutor’s Office and delegation, the Vice Regent of Natuna, the Head of the Natuna District Prosecutor’s Office and staff, the Chairperson of the Natuna Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), the Regional Secretary, several heads of Regional Government Organizations (OPD), sub-district heads, and village heads from across Natuna Regency.
In her remarks, Cen Sui Lan welcomed the occasion as a reflection of the attention and strong commitment of the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia in providing guidance and oversight for village development, particularly in Natuna Regency as one of Indonesia’s border regions.
She emphasized that village governments play a vital role as the front line of development. Therefore, through this activity, it is expected that all village heads will gain the necessary information, legal knowledge, and understanding through proper assistance in managing village governance, ensuring that development is carried out in compliance with prevailing laws and regulations.
In closing, Cen Sui Lan urged all village heads in attendance to take the socialization program seriously, absorb the materials presented, and implement them in the execution of their respective duties at the village level. (Prokopim (D&S))
