On Wednesday, 21st February 2024, the Regent of Natuna accompanied by the Vice Regent of Natuna and the Head of the Cooperation Section attended the signing of a scholarship cooperation MoU between Esa Unggul University and the Natuna Regency Government, at the Esa Unggul Jakarta campus.
In the signing of the MoU, the Natuna Regency Government received 10 quotes of 100% scholarships for the youths of Natuna Regency until they graduate.
In his speech, the Rector of Esa Unggul, Dr Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, said that many potential sectors in Natuna are in line with Esa Unggul’s vision and mission.
“In realising the quality of resources at the border, of course, we are very proud to be part of the progress of education at the border in particular and Indonesia in general. Of course, not only scholarship programmes but other fields that have relevance to the vision and mission of Esa Unggul University,” explained the Rector of Esa Unggul.
In his speech, the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Esa Unggul University for their cooperation in improving human resources in the border area.
“The young generation is the relay of development that will inherit the wheels of the regency, so it is my responsibility and that of the Vice Regent to prepare a superior and qualified generation that is ready to build Natuna towards a better future,” Wan Siswandi explained.
The signing of the MoU was marked by the signing of the MoU directly by the Regent of Natuna accompanied by the Deputy Regent of Natuna with the Rector of Esa Unggul and his levels. The event was also synchronised with a public lecture which was also filled by the Deputy Regent of Natuna as the keynote speaker. (patli)
