Regional Secretary of Natuna Opens the Bunguran Timur District Musrenbang for the 2026 Fiscal Year Proposals

The Bunguran Timur District Government officially opened the Development Planning Consultation (Musrenbang) for 2026, led by the Regional Secretary of Natuna Regency, Boy Wijanarko Varianto. The event took place at the Sri Serindit Multipurpose Hall, Jl. Yos Soedarso, Batu Hitam Subdistrict, Ranai, on Monday morning (10/2).

In his speech, Boy Wijanarko explained that Musrenbang is an essential phase where district-level authorities can propose development plans to be considered at the regency level.

Boy emphasized that all submitted proposals should be prioritized based on urgency. This is particularly crucial considering the current budget constraints, where all local governments are required to implement budget rationalization as mandated by Presidential Instruction (Inpres) No. 01 of 2025 on Budget Efficiency, which specifies 11 expenditure items subject to rationalization.

On the same occasion, the Acting Head of Bunguran Timur District, Harmidi, reported that the Musrenbang activities in Bunguran Timur District were preceded by a series of free health check-ups, a mini workshop, and a stunting discussion forum, held from December 9, 2024, to January 22, 2025. The Stunting Discussion Forum was conducted in collaboration with the local community health center (Puskesmas).

Harmidi further explained that these activities were supported by 31 Posyandu (integrated health service posts), 14 ILP cadres, and 185 general community health cadres, totaling 199 personnel involved.

Additionally, Harmidi stated that the Musrenbang discussions would focus on 39 priority proposals, which were derived from the village and subdistrict-level Musrenbang. These proposals would then be submitted for further consideration at the regency-level Musrenbang in the coming weeks.

The event was attended by members of the Riau Islands Provincial DPRD, the Chairperson and members of the Natuna Regency DPRD, members of Forkopimda, the Regional Secretary, several heads of regional government agencies (OPD), subdistrict heads (camat), urban village heads (lurah), village heads (kades), and prominent community leaders from Bunguran Timur District.
